PAPER PRINT - 'Solitude in the Pines'
Vibrant Canadian Landscape
CA$65.00
Beneath the heavy canopy of the Claremont trails, a winter afternoon often feels entirely still and frozen in time. Yet, beneath that quiet hush, the wilderness is alive with subtle motion—the low sun cuts through the evergreens, igniting a radiant golden blaze that casts long, crisp indigo shadows cutting across the drifted snow. I used thick, sculptural impasto strokes and rich, vibrating layers to bring out this intense interplay of light and shadow, celebrating the vibrant pulse hidden inside the silent winter woods.

The textured fine art paper is an archival, Ph-neutral, OBA-free, thick and gorgeous 400 gsm medium, made by Strathmore. The special top coating of this paper gives it unique precision, contrast and color saturation for a matte medium. It is also much more resistant to water spills than most fine art paper.
